For Ross County's first Elhamed was nutmegged and left for dead on the half way line as was Bitton. Brown tried to approach but couldn't get over in time. Jullien then went for the ball and didn't see the forward behind him and then brought them down giving away a penalty. Barkas falls down in the middle of the goal as an attempted save. Their second is a corner where Ajer is beat for the first ball, Jullien leaves his man which Duffy then goes to mark leaving his man and Brown having 2 to pick up. Brown's man then scores a header. Again Barkas's effort to save is non existent.
Celtic went back to a 352 incredibly.
Barkas came in for Bain. McGregor was dropped/rested and Bitton came in to make up the extra central defender. Elyounoussi made way for Ajeti to be the second forward. Rogic came in for Ntcham. Forrest was still unavailable due to injury. Turnbull was out with COVID related reason.
Celtic lined up with;

- Ajeti and Edouard
Duffy, Eloyounoussi, Klimala and McGregor all came on as subs. McGregor came on to maintain his ever present record in all games. Ntcham was an unused sub which was the first time he wasn't involved in the action this season.
Key note - After 6 games of 4231, then 9 games at 352, then 7 games at 4231 again Celtic incredibly went back to 352 again which obviously didn't work for this game. Also these 11 players had never been used as a group 11 in any game previously this season.
