Match Preview (St Johnstone v Celtic)

Match probabilities for tonight's game are Celtic 70%, a defeat 9% and a draw 21%.

Probabilities probably reflecting Celtic's line up which is missing Hart, Bain, Ralston, Taylor, McGregor, Turnbull, Forrest, Ajeti, Giakoumakis, Jota and Johnston.

Celtic line up with;

- Hart

- Welsh, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt and Scales

- McCarthy, Bitton and Rogic

- Juranovic, Kyogo and Abada

Subs are Mullen, Soro, Bolingoli, Dawson, Montgomery, Moffat and Doak

If Doak comes on he will be the youngest ever Celtic player as he is younger than the current youngest Jack Aitchison.

St Johnstone line up with;

- Parish

- Dendoncker, Gordon and McCart

- Brown, Bryson, Butterfield and Booth

- Crawford and Solomon-Otabor

- May

Davidson and O'Halloran missing out from the last game with Crawford and Solomon-Otabor coming in.

After the first round of matches St Johnstone were the lowest with only 27% of their shots on target. They had scored the lowest amount of goals at 0.64 per game. However 35% of their NP xG was from set plays and that was the third highest.

Defensively they had 51% of tackles won and 41% of aerials won which is the lowest for both measures.

For impact Wotherspoon makes a 0.73 positive goal difference variance when playing and the worst is McCart who has a negative variance of 2.48 per game.

Wotherspoon is also top for points per game at 1pt per game while the lowest is Brown on 0.4 per game.

My prediction is 1-0 to Celtic with Kyogo scoring and Juranovic assisting.
