Motherwell v Celtic (Match Preview)

Irish youth cap Casey was signed in February from Sacramento from the MSL. 17 year old Miller has 16 caps for Scotland Under 17's and is a very hot prospect. Paton was signed from Ross County in March. Spencer is on loan from Huddersfield. Bair was signed from St Johnstone in the summer.


Subs used were striker Oli Shaw who is on loan from Barnsley, striker Conor Wilkinson who was signed from Walsall in the summer and midfielder Georgie Grant who is on loan from Blackburn.


Unused subs were keeper Oxborough, defender Blaney, defender Wilson, midfielder Zdravkovski, midfielder McGinley and striker Ferrie.


Butcher, Obika, Biereth and Souare were all out injured. Top for xG are Slattery (32nd in SPFL) on 0.3 per 90 and Wilkinson on 0.20 (39th)

Top for xA are Spittal (8th) on 0.25 and O'Donnell on 0.12 (44th).


Mugabi and Casey are 7th and 8th for blocks per 90 and Mugabi is 1st for clearances per 90 (7.7).
